The company builds the vehicles based on original Defenders from the 1970s and outfits them with period-correct additions like pastel paint, Rostyle wheels, thin tires and a lot of attention to detail in everything from the winch to the bumper and suspension.

Himalaya Restorations & Design is another company that focuses on keeping the Defenders authentic while at the same time adding some modern touches. Their Defenders are built with the same Land Rover chassis as the ’80s and ’90s models, but they can also add disc brakes, a turbo and even upgrades the stereo to give them a little more modern appeal.

The Valiance Convertible is the company’s first Defender droptop, and it’s available in three color schemes: Cote d’Azur, Solihull Sand and Kokkini Paralia. The Cote d’Azur option is inspired by the beaches of the south of France, while the Solihull Sand and Kokkini Pareli options evoke the English countryside.
