The Motorola WPS-601 is a budget (sub $5) portable charger with enough emergency power give you a few extra emergency phone calls. Durability is suitable for general/everyday use, but stressed easily under higher impact tests. The WPS-601 will do in a pinch, but readers may be better served by the myCharge RazorPlus 3000, Ventev 3015c, or the LinearFlux LithiumCard.
Battery Life
Battery life for the Motorola was the lowest among all micro-sized portable chargers tested, delivering only 20 minutes of power under our intensive tests. By comparison, the myCharge RazorPlus 3000 — which is 20% smaller—delivered more than four times that amount of power (a full 92 minutes). Discharge rate is among the lowest of any device we tested, delivering power at only 12% the speed of comparative devices.
Power/Size
The Motorola WPS-601 yielded the lowest scores in the micro size category among all devices tested.
Durability
The Motorola WPS-601’s plastic housing appears solid enough for everyday use, but proved to crack easily under some drop tests and higher impact stress tests. Seams in the case were also easily separated under higher stress torsion and compression tests.

Value
The Motorola WPS-601 delivers excellent value: it has the lowest overall price of any charger tested, and actually rivals the Ventev 3015c for the most power per dollar spent among micro sized chargers.
