Battery Life
Battery life for the Resync 6000 is low compared to competitors, offering only 209 minutes of power in our intensive ‘real world’ tests.  Discharge rates were also 20% slower than competitors.

Power/Size
The Resync 6000 also ranked lower-than-average than competitors in terms of battery life per cubic inch and battery life per ounce.

Durability
The Resync 6000 advertises IPX5 water resistance, and has a rubberized exterior for additional shock/impact resistance.  The main housing however, is constructed from plastic.  In our tests, Resync 6000’s water resistance was quite good, but the plastic housing bends easily in lower-to-mid level compression tests.  Still, despite these limitations, we still believe this to be an excellent device for urban travel.

Features
The Resync 6000 offers standard 2.1 amp charging, and has integrated power indicator lights.  What really sets the device apart, however, is the integrated .75 watt solar panel:  rare among portable chargers, and unique among all chargers tested. The panel was not thoroughly tested for this test but proved to be capable of performing as advertised. Be warned though that solar charging on a panel this size will take some time.

Value
While the integrated solar panel on the Resync 6000 is useful, it comes at a cost:  compared with competitors, the Resync is more expensive in terms of power and battery life per dollar spent but in a pinch it will recharge with enough sunlight exposure.
