Battery for the Kmashi 20,000 is outstanding, consistently delivering over 1176 minutes of power in our ‘real world’ tests, and second-place among all portable chargers tested. Discharge rates are respectable, but still about 25% slower than several competitors.

In terms of power-per-cubic-inch and power-per-ounce, the Kmashi 20,000 is also outstanding, scoring second-place among all large-size chargers tested.

Durability
Like its smaller sibling the Victor K1, durability for the Kmashi 20,000 could be an issue for some users. The Kmashi 20,000 is constructed mostly of plastic, with a very thin rubberized coating. Unfortunately, the plastic is thin and does not appear to be high-density, and damaged easily in impact tests. Warping of the plastic shell may also be an issue in certain heat conditions. Readers needing a more durable charger may want to consider other devices, but we still believe the Kmashi 20,000 to be an outstanding choice for light, general/everyday use.

In terms of features, the Kmashi 20,000 is bare bones, offering integrated 1 amp and 2.1 amp USB ports, and integrated power level indicators.

Value
In terms of cost per minute of power, the Kmashi 20,000 actually scores the second-highest ratings among all devices tested, regardless of size or weight category. Because of power and durability issues with its sibling rival the Kmashi K-MP836, however, we actually feel that the Kmashi 20,000 is the best value charger in the large size category, and one of the best value devices among all chargers tested, regardless of size or category.
