Peak Design has been making some of the best bags and camera accessories for the past fifteen years. Their new Roller Pro bag, which launched on Kickstarter on March 4th, is on track to be their most successful campaign of all time having reached their $100K goal in one minute — and surpassing $1 million in an hour. Currently the campaign sits just under $7.3 million pledged.
The bag itself is impressive, but so is the price tag. However, highlights include an innovative hybrid hard/soft sided construction, global carry-on compliance and a lifetime guarantee. That lifetime guarantee is of particular note since I usually expect a roller bag to last four to six years, maybe less if I’m checking it often.
